A: "Everyone on the team is so excited to bring this harvest in. Our first Pinot has already come off the vine, and our fruit is incredible across all our Russian River Valley vineyards – juicy and really in balance."
That impeccable balance has long been a marker for EnRoute’s Pinot Noir program, particularly with our flagship Pinot Noir, “Les Pommiers,” which is a blend of our most esteemed Russian River Valley Pinot Noir holdings.
A: "EnRoute launched the harvest season in the Russian River Valley on August 18, starting with our Calera clone, block 5, Pinot Noir from the Amber Ridge vineyard. It has been the front runner for us the past couple years and is following suit this season. The grapes are looking and tasting amazing."
Acquisitions of some of the Russian River Valley’s most pedigreed vineyards have resulted in focused, textured and graceful Pinot Noir wines and 2021 looks to be no different.
A: “I’m super excited about the quality of our Saxon Priest Vineyard. The old vines there just give us this beautiful, muscular fruit, with dark, concentrated flavors. And our newer blocks are showing spectacular quality this year, with juiciness and great acidity.”
After more than a decade, EnRoute continues to pursue its mission to produce the ultimate Pinot Noir.
