The inaugural bottling of the 2021 EnRoute Chardonnay, "Reinette" is enticing on the nose with an intriguing fragrance of crème brulee and caramel apples. The palate calls to mind beautiful notes of fresh lemon zest over apple galette. Racy acidity and confectionery spices (clove & cinnamon) drive the lengthy finish of the wine.

EnRoute Chardonnay, Russian River Valley, “Reinette” is sourced from one of our favorite Chardonnay vineyards just east of the town of Forestville. Foggy mornings throughout the growing season allow the grapes to mature slowly and retain their delicate aromatics. Planted to Rued and Sees clone, this vineyard produces wines with richness and structure while still retaining their lively fruity characteristics.
